About

I am an undergraduate researcher in Artificial Intelligence Engineering at Istanbul University. My research sits at the intersection of deep learning and computer vision, with a particular focus on medical image analysis and explainable AI.

I am interested in developing machine learning systems for clinical applications — exploring how neural networks can be made more interpretable and trustworthy. Currently, I am investigating retinal fundus image analysis for biological age prediction using residual neural networks.

More broadly, I am drawn to self-supervised learning, vision transformers, and the open questions at the frontier of AI and healthcare. I believe in open, reproducible research.
